Nari Hong is a writer, illustrator, and filmmaker specializing in children’s content. While studying design at the University of London, she discovered her passion for picture books and began illustrating her personal stories. Her debut book, Don’t Be Sorry, Dad!, a heartfelt reflection of her own experiences, was published in the USA, Sweden, Germany, Singapore, and Korea. The book received widespread recognition, earning love from various organizations worldwide and was nominated for the prestigious Peter Pan Award, one of Sweden's most esteemed literary honors.
Since 2015, Nari has published four children’s picture books internationally and directed three animated films. She is currently working on her next project alongside her two daughters and her husband, Seung Joon Ahn, a singer-songwriter, in New Zealand.
